In contradistinction to ELAM-01 this device consist of stainless steel operating block with three independent cells and the control block.

 

The main purpose of ELAM-02 is gravimetric electrolytic (electro gravimetric) analysis of copper, nickel, lead, cobalt and other metals in the alloys and pure metals.

Method is based on the acid-dissolution on the analyzed metal’s sample and its further electrolytic isolation out of the solution on the platinum mesh electrodes under the adjusted stabilized current magnitude.

 

For each cell the control block contains:

  • a stabilized adjustable current source (from 0,2 up to 4,5 A) with the indication of amperage or electrode voltage
  • time indicator of electrolysis from 1 up to 900 minutes
  • controls of cells: switch on/off, adjustment of amperage, speed adjustment for magnetic stir bar

 

Each cell of operating block consist of:

  • magnetic stirrer
  • a rack for the fixing of platinum electrodes* (article No.300 according the GOST 6563-75)

 

* The plant is being supplied without platinum electrodes. The electrodes may be supplied by producer factory open joint-stock company "Ekaterinburgskiy OTsM". In order to acquire platinum electrodes (article No.300 according to GOST 6563-75) your company should be registered in The State Inspectorate of Assay Supervision.
